We will be offering two sessions of tennis lessons this summer for junior players. This includes both members and non-members of the club. The lessons will take place on Mondays and/or Wednesdays. 10 & Under is from 3:00 pm-4:00 pm and is $15/day
11 & Up is from 1:30 pm-3:00 pm and is $23/day

Meet the Pros

Trey Seymour

Trey is from Greenville, MS, and attended Washington School where he participated in tennis, basketball, soccer, football, and track, and earned a State Championship in Tennis singles. Trey played tennis at Missisippi State where he was part of the 2011 and 2012 SEC Western Division championship teams. He also played at Tyler Junior College where he was an All-American in singles and doubles. At Delta State, during his Junior year, Trey primarily competed at No. 3 singles and posted a 10-6 overall record and a 5-5 GSC record...competed in 16 matches at No. 1 doubles and posted a 12-3 overall record and a 6-3 GSC record in those doubles matches. During his Senior year, he primarily competed at No. 5 singles for Delta State before the remainder of the spring schedule was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and posted a 6-3 record and a 2-0 record in GSC play. He competed in nine matches at No. 1 doubles and posted an undefeated 9-0 overall record and a 2-0 mark in GSC play in doubles matches.

Katheryne Valencia Perez

Katheryne is from Caracas, Venezuela. For high school, she attended Colegio La Consolacion in Caracas where she played tennis. Katheryne played two years at Seminole State College. At Delta State during her Junior year, she competed in 21 singles matches with a 5-16 overall record and 2-8 record in the GSC. Katheryne appeared in all 20 doubles matches for the Lady Statesmen and posted a 7-13 overall record and a 4-6 mark in GSC doubles matches. During her Senior year, she competed in six matches for Delta State before the remainder of the spring schedule was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She posted a 3-3 record and a 1-1 record in GSC play and competed in eight matches of doubles and posted a 2-6 overall record and a 0-2 mark in GSC doubles play.
